GBS is proud to be an associate member of the East Gippsland Food Cluster. On Tuesday 7 February 2017, the GBS Industrial Team attended the East Gippsland Food Cluster Twilight Picnic – Celebrating Summer flavours of East Gippsland.
A bit of fun for prospective and current members to come together to talk about East Gippsland’s fine produce.
A friendly competition was held based on the best produce flavours of summer grown foods in East Gippsland. Some notable mentions of in season produce that got the big tick on flavour were; Bonaccord sweetcorn, Meristem microherbs, Picnic Point Farm raspberries and Lakes Entrance school prawns.
The GBS Team put its own picnic together with some fine produce made in Gippsland, including Maffra cheese!
