As you know, from our previous post in June, one of our valued clients was able to distribute over 1,000 pairs of pyjamas to children in emergency foster care across Gippsland in 2015 with the help from local community groups, schools and families.
This year, GBS jumped on board to assist in spreading the news and to contribute further donations to help out!
Well, we’d like to say a “ BIG THANK YOU ” to each and every one of you who donated!
Children who end up in emergency foster care rarely have a chance to gather any of their own belongings and a fresh set of pyjama’s will certainly help put a smile on their faces as their going through a traumatic and vulnerable time.
We’d also like to thank the Baw Baw Shire Council who banded together to contribute a large donation, as well as the GBS team.
Rachael Newton of GBS is thrilled to be delivering the pyjamas to our client later this week.
